India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio expects to change into the world’s largest participant having a pure 5G community this 12 months with promise to offer providers at reasonably priced charges to the plenty, a senior official of the corporate stated right here.
Speaking to the PTI on the Mobile World Congress, Reliance Jio President Mathew Oommen stated India wants inclusive progress and Jio will proceed to help it.

“Jio will be the largest 5G SA (standalone) only network operator in the world in the second half of 2023, ensuring that all advanced services and capabilities are available affordably to the masses,” Oommen stated.
He was responding to questions across the firm’s 5G roll out plan and Jio’s competitor Bharti Airtel pushing for a rise in cellular name and information providers worth. Jio has focussed on rolling out 5G SA whereas Bharti Airtel is rolling out 5G (NSA) non-standalone community which might present a mixture of 5G and 4G providers.
“India needs inclusive growth. Jio will continue to support India’s inclusive growth,” Oommen stated.
Bharti Airtel Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal earlier this week stated cellular name and information charges will go up this 12 months because the return on capital within the telecom enterprise may be very low.
