Los Angeles, Long Beach port closures threaten to revive supply-chain nightmare

Terminals on the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach remained successfully closed Friday after an absence of dockworkers at each key U.S. import hubs, elevating considerations of renewed tangles within the nation’s distribution community that might result in delivery delays and larger disruptions to the economic system.
