Japanese concern Toyota Motor has set a new record for sales in a month – incredibly successful for the company was June 2023.
Toyota’s global sales rose 10% year–on–year to 898,947 vehicles. Combined sales, including products from subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor and Hino Motors, rose 9% to a total of 968,801 vehicles. The increase marks the fifth consecutive month of growth.

These results can be attributed to the fact that Toyota made significant progress in addressing semiconductor shortages and coping with the effects of the COVID–19 pandemic. This has enabled it to increase production volumes and meet customer demand.
According to statistics, Toyota leads the ranking of the best–selling passenger cars in the world.
