When It Is “Bahu Cooks Day”, Sameera Reddy Makes This South Indian Meal

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that some households have a cooking roster in place. On sure days, one member takes cost of the kitchen. Interestingly, celeb households aren’t any exception to this routine. Actress Sameera Reddy not too long ago shared a video wherein she may be seen getting ready, “Kerala Idiyappam Veg Stew”. The video options Sameera and her mother-in-law, Manjri Varde. The clip begins with Manjri trying elegant in a saree and smiling on the digicam. Sameera enters the body and jokingly asks, “Why are you so dressed up?” To this, Manjri responds, “Today is the once-in-a-year bahu cooks day,” and reminds Sameera that she had promised to make Idiyappams with stew.

Following that, Sameera dives into the preparation of the South Indian dish. She begins by pointing the digicam in direction of chopped French beans, carrots, and cauliflower, with Manjri stating that they had been “not cut by Sameera.” Next, Sameera locations a pot on the flame and provides coconut oil, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, chopped ginger, garlic, and onions. The chopped greens, together with recent peas, are then added to the pot. After a fast stir, Sameera provides water and coconut milk to the combination.

For the Idiyappams, she heats up water with some oil, roasts rice flour, and provides the heated water to the rice flour to knead the dough. Following that, she shapes the dough into small items and locations them contained in the Idiyappam maker. The Idli maker is oiled, and the Idiyappams are fastidiously ready and steamed. Finally, she serves the pleasant dish to her mother-in-law.
