The incident of Ja Morant flashing a gun on Instagram Live might have critical ramifications. The 23-year-old Grizzlies star has already been suspended by his workforce and is being investigated by police. But they is probably not the top of it.
According to Marc Stein, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) features a clause which says {that a} participant is robotically suspended for 50 video games if he brings a firearm to workforce premises.
“The CBA says if there is a firearm on team premises [team plane], that’s an automatic 50-game suspension. That’s why the league is trying to ascertain where was the gun before the Instagram video,” Stein mentioned, per Top Ball Coverage on Twitter.
