Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Jalen Williams mentioned his means to protect a number of positions after defending Domantas Sabonis in Sunday’s 124-115 house loss vs. the Sacramento Kings.

(through Oklahoma City Thunder):

Reporter: “Was that something you ever anticipated doing when you came into the league, guarding Sabonis? One of the best big men in the league.”

Williams: “Yeah. In college, I kinda guarded every position. They were straight forward with me when I got drafted, kinda what we were looking for. Obviously, we didn’t anticipate Chet getting hurt, but I’m just ready to guard whatever. I think that kinda just adds to how I play.”
