The Indiana Pacers beat the Dallas Mavericks 124-122 on Tuesday evening. After the sport, the Mavs head coach Jason Kidd talked in regards to the Pacers throwing out full-court presses:

“We’ve seen everything from the hits. They extended the hit to a full-court hit. Being able to play-make – I thought Maxi [Kleber] did a great job, C-Wood [Christian Wood] did a great job, Timmy [Tim Hardaway, Jr.]. It’s an advantage offense. We did a good job taking advantage of that. Understanding Rick [Carlisle] is not going to let Luka [Doncic] play, and he didn’t. But, Luka did a great job of staying patient, attacking, and I thought he did a great job in the paint and finishing.

“The big thing is, we couldn’t make the timing shot. We had a lot of great looks for threes there late, and two of them were airballs. Kai [Kyrie Irving] had a good one in the left corner that didn’t go down, and then Kai’s game-winner just didn’t fall for us. We got wide-open looks – quality looks – late, that we’ve got to be able to make.”
