Former NBA participant JJ Redick shared some inside details about a possible Russell Westbrook commerce.

In the newest episode of The Old Man And The Three podcast which was recorded on Tuesday roughly 48 hours till the commerce deadline, he mentioned that the Lakers are near buying and selling Russ to the Jazz for Mike Conley.

“I’m hearing there’s a specific trade that’s close and it’s been reported on Twitter, so I’m not breaking news here,” Redick mentioned. “But by the time we release this episode it could be done. It’s the Russ to the Jazz for Conley. I’ve heard that is close to being done.”

If such commerce was to occur, Utah must embrace extra gamers to ensure that the salaries to match. Westbrook is ready to make $47 million this season, whereas Conley’s wage is $22.7 million.

This season Westbrook is averaging 15.9 factors, 6.2 rebounds and seven.5 assists in 28.7 minutes per sport.

Meanwhile, Conley is averaging 10.7 factors, 2.5 rebounds and seven.7 assists in 29.7 minutes per sport.
