In court docket on Monday, Manhattan prosecutors acknowledged that Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. didn’t break his girlfriend’s neck through the alleged resort altercation.
Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Mirah Curzer acknowledged that they might be dropping the second-degree assault cost towards Porter because of “insufficient evidence” after confirming that the NBA participant didn’t trigger a break in his girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick’s neck.
“What initially appeared to be a fractured vertebrae was not in fact an injury caused by the defendant,” Curzer advised Judge Jay Weiner throughout Porter’s listening to in Manhattan Criminal Court.
