Nikola Jokic reacts to KK Joker incomes promotion to Serbian high division — Mahaz News

Nikola Jokic’s native basketball crew, KK Joker, lately achieved promotion to the highest division in Serbia, bringing a wave of pleasure to his hometown of Sombor. The Nuggets star was lately requested about this achievement.

“I’m just a name, my brother is doing that. He’s the general manager of that and he’s everything there,” Jokic humbly acknowledged. “Everybody else are just… we represent of course, we watch every single game.

Expressing his joy for the city and its basketball enthusiasts, Jokic highlighted the positive impact the team’s success has had on the local community, especially for the aspiring young players in Sombor.

“I think it’s really good for the city and really good for the people in Sombor,” he mentioned. “They never had that before. Not just that, I think the juniors and cadets are playing I’m going to say the best league that they can play. I think it’s really good for the city and for the kids and whoever to come and watch a good quality basketball.”

Furthermore, Jokic commented on the growing reputation of KK Joker, noting the rising fan attendance on the crew’s video games, which has remodeled the native enviornment right into a vibrant and enthusiastic gathering place for basketball fanatics.

“The people are coming [to games],” Jokic remarked. “When I was [there], I never played in front of a full arena. Of course, that’s maybe two thousand people. But we saw some pictures and the gym is full. I’m really happy to see that. It means a lot to me.”
