The Portland Trail Blazers have been trying to find a commerce deal to accommodate Damian Lillard’s need to affix the Miami Heat, a requirement he remodeled two months in the past.
Despite Lillard’s choice for Miami, the continuing deadlock between the Blazers and the Heat has prompted Portland to think about different commerce choices.
Chris Mannix expressed optimism concerning the Oklahoma City Thunder’s potential curiosity in Lillard if they’re performing effectively close to the commerce deadline.
“Trust me, I wrote this last week. I believe I’m going to call this an educated opinion,” Mannix stated on The Crossover NBA Show, per Ross Lovelace of Sports Illustrated. “That if Dame is still on that Blazers roster in January. And if OKC is overachieving. If they’re playing really well, don’t be surprised if they go out and make a run at Lillard.”
