Former India captain Bishan Bedi has died on the age of 77 in Delhi.
Bedi was ailing for the final two years and had undergone a number of surgical procedures together with one on the knee a couple of month in the past. He is survived by his spouse Anju, and two youngsters: Neha and Angad.
One of the perfect left-arm spinners ever, Bedi represented India in 67 Tests and ten ODIs from 1967 to 1979. He was India’s highest wicket-taker in Tests, with a tally of 266, on the time of his retirement.
