Suzie Bates led a return to type by New Zealand’s batters as they scored 189 for 3 of their Women’s T20 World Cup match in opposition to Bangladesh at Newlands in Cape Town on Friday. Bates hit 81 not out and have become the primary lady from any nation to achieve 1000 runs in T20 World Cups. It was a dramatic turnaround for the White Ferns who notched the best whole of the event after being bowled out for the 2 lowest of their first two matches – 76 in opposition to Australia and 67 in opposition to South Africa.
