ATK Mohun Bagan beat Bengaluru FC on penalties to carry maiden Indian Super League title

ATK Mohun Bagan lifted their maiden Indian Super League title on Saturday after they defeated Bengaluru FC 2-2 (4-3 on penalties). The membership from West Bengal was runners-up within the 2020-21 version of the event. Dimitri Petratos was the hero of the evening for ATKMB, as he coolly slotted in each penalties (14′ and 85′) to drive further time within the title conflict. Sunil Chhetri, the Bengaluru captain, had scored the primary objective for the facet barely seconds earlier than the primary half, whereas Roy Krishna had given them the lead within the 78th minute.
