Golden Boot nominees introduced as Kiwis dominate after Pacific Championships triumph

The nominees for the lads’s and ladies’s 2023 International Rugby League Golden Boot winners have been introduced.

Golden Cap recipients Darren Lockyer (Australia), Adrian Morley (England), Ruben Wiki (New Zealand), James Graham (England) and Adam Blair (New Zealand) make up the panel who will determine the lads’s winner.

Meanwhile, Karyn Murphy (Australia), Honey Hireme-Smiler (New Zealand) and Danika Prim (England) will decide over the ladies’s listing.

Following the 2023 Pacific Championships, New Zealand stars dominate the lads’s listing with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Jahrome Hughes, James Fisher-Harris, Joey Tapine and Ronaldo Mulitalo all within the working.

Raecene McGregor, Apii Nicholls, Mele Hufanga and Georgia Hale are all nominees from the Kiwis Ferns.

In 2022, New Zealand duo Joey Manu and Raecene McGregor had been named the Golden Boot winners.
