‘I’m dedicated’: Eddie Jones rubbishes Japan studies once more after exit speak intensifies

Embattled Wallabies coach Eddie Jones has declared he’s “committed to Australia” after arriving dwelling from the World Cup amid a flurry of studies he’s set to take a job provide from Japan.

Arriving in Sydney on Friday morning Jones, who signed a five-year cope with the Wallabies however has reportedly been speaking with Japanese officers, declared he would meet with Rugby Australia and reveal his future at a press convention on Monday.

“Meeting with Rugby (Australia). I will speak to the media on Monday but I am committed to Australia,” he stated when door-stopped by TV cameras on the airport.

Jones reiterated that he had had “no discussions” with Japanese officers regardless of studies he carried out an interview through Zoom and that the job was his for the taking.

He has repeatedly denied these studies and stated he “can;t control” studies popping out of Japan that he was going to just accept the teaching function.

“Ah well, as I said mate, I’m committed to Australia,” he stated.

Multiple Japanese news retailers, and the London Telegraph, have reported that Jones is ready to take over from Jamie Joseph as Japan head coach on a long-term deal.

Rugby Australia didn’t organise an arrival press convention for Jones at Sydney Airport upon arrival from France and the 63-year-old was reluctant to speak.

Jones stays beneath strain after the Wallabies earlier ever World Cup exit which got here on the again of losses to Fiji and Wales.
