‘It’s bulls**t’: Bunnies skipper blasts reviews of membership unrest and star remedy

Souths skipper Cam Murray has damaged his silence on the rumoured unrest on the Rabbitohs, labelling claims of preferential remedy in direction of Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker as “bulls**t.”

“What makes this club great is we look after individual needs. Not everyone is always on the same schedule.

“Latrell might not turn up one day because he has another commitment. Other players might not turn up one day because of things like taking their kids to their first day of school.”

Murray went onto say it’s “unfair” for Mitchell and Walker to be singled out, and defended the star fullback’s a lot talked about look on the live performance.

“To imply they’re bigger than the team, it’s just wrong,” Murray stated.

“Even the Luke Combs thing the other night, nobody at this club had a problem with (it). Latrell had a good time seeing an artist he has always loved, and was creating memories. Who wouldn’t do that?

“Both Latrell and Cody have been unfairly judged in the media, and it’s not the first time it has happened, particularly with Latrell. I will always back my teammates.”
