The gun backrower didn’t dwell as much as his hefty price ticket on the Gold Coast, and Titans coach Justin Holbrook confirmed the Broncos had been in contract with Fifita.

“The Broncos are definitely keen, 100 per cent,” Holbrook stated forward of the Titans’ season-opener in opposition to the Tigers on Sunday.

“I know ‘Kevvie’ (Walters) has been ringing him and has been talking to him.”

“Reece Walsh is their No.1 (fullback). I’m a huge fan of Selwyn Cobbo, he’s only going to get better and better if he puts his mind to it, so they’ve got great depth there.

“They need to find the next halfback.”

Johns additionally believes the value of the sport’s elite backrowers has been inflated, stating precisely how a lot he believes Fifita needs to be incomes on his subsequent deal.
