Brisbane Broncos star Selwyn Cobbo has sensationally branded Jarome Luai “a grub” after the Penrith Panthers five-eighth stood over him throughout State of Origin when he was knocked out chilly.

Although Luai said on the time he didn’t know Cobbo was knocked out and even spoke to him after the sport, the Broncos star has evidently not forgotten concerning the incident.

“I don’t know why he [Luai] did that,” Cobbo advised the Back of the 135 podcast.
“He’s just a grub.
“It was pretty disappointing. It was in Brissie so all my family was there too.
“Two minutes in, I get knocked out. I was pretty upset in the sheds when the doctor said I couldn’t go back on.
“Luai is a grub.”
Cobbo’s feedback on Luai have been on the identical podcast he infamously labelled his Broncos boss Kevin Walters as “a good bloke but not the best coach.”
