WHO WOULD YOU LEAST LIKE TO ROOM WITH?

Adam Reynolds: “Alfie Langer. He’d be dragging me to all sorts of pubs and he’d be going to the early hours of the morning. I’m not too sure how I’d go in the game if I was rooming with Alfie.”

Billy Walters: “Probably Corey Oates. He can talk underwater with a mouth full of food so he’d probably annoy me the whole time.”

Corey Oates: “Reyno because we know the sh*t out of each other so I don’t know how he’d go if we were in a room together for 10 days.”

Pat Carrigan: “Corey Oates. Don’t ever room me with him because he doesn’t shut up.”

Kotoni Staggs: “Definitely Oatesy. You want to be relaxed and focused on doing your thing but he just talks too much. He’s always got something to say. I’ve roomed with him a few times and I don’t want to do that again.”

Brad Parker: “Aaron Woods because he doesn’t shut up.”

Reuben Garrick: “Probably one of the poker players. Some of the boys love their poker and when we go on away trip they’ll play some fun hands and be up until 12:30 at night. I’d like to get my eight hours so one of those guys… I’ll go with Josh Aloiai, he loves his poker.”

Tyrone Munro: “AJ. I roomed with him when we went to New Zealand and I forgot to get him chocolate. He wouldn’t let it go.”

WHO WOULD MOST LIKELY NEED A CURFEW?

Brad Parker: “Probably Reuben Garrick… That’s a tough one.”

Taniela Paseka: “I think Corey Waddell because he’s a single boy. He’ll want to be out so we’ve got to let him know we’re here to play footy.”

Reuben Garrick: “Ethan Bullemor.”

WHO WOULD WE MOST LIKELY SPOT AT A BLACKJACK TABLE?

Adam Reynolds: “Probably me. I don’t mind a gamble. We don’t have many gamblers in the team, so that’s a good thing. It’d probably be one of the coaches, they’re rowdier than the boys these days.”

Billy Walters: “I’m going to say Pat Carrigan. He’s a pretty smart fella, he probably thinks he can beat the system like counting cards. It’s not possible, but he probably would think he could so he’d lose all his money.”

Corey Oates: “Probably Ezra, he’s always one of those funny, weird kids.”

Pat Carrigan: “Darius Boyd was pretty good back in the day so as one of our assistant coaches he could take the Vegas casinos for a bit of a run. Or someone silly, Walshy would probably get rolled at the Casino early on and have to go back for more.”

Kotoni Staggs: “Definitely Reyno.”

Brad Parker: “Turbo. He’s real smart so I reckon he’d think he can outthink the system… He’s pretty good with numbers.”

Tyrone Munro: “I’ve never played it so I wouldn’t know.”

WHO WILL BE THE FUN POLICE?

Adam Reynolds: “Probably Corey Oates. A loud figure, sort of turned into Mr. Professional these days, working hard on his body. He’d be pulling all the boys into line and getting them ready for bed early.”

Billy Walters: “I think Kevvie would be. He’d be the fun police for the players but he’d try and take the coaching staff out. He’d try and keep us in his line… I suppose that’s his job.”

When we advised Billy somebody mentioned him, he responded with: “Oh really? That’s a bit of a stitch-up.”

Corey Oates: “Waltsy (Kevin Walters), it’s his job unfortunately. The fun police could be Reyno though, as the captain.”

Kotoni Staggs: “I reckon Billy Walters will be, the coach’s son.”

Brad Parker: “Probably Jake. He’ll be worried about us getting to the game.”

Taniela Paseka: “I can’t say anyone… Everyone is good.”

Reuben Garrick: “Chez. Nah he won’t be, probably John Bonasera our footy manager. Seibs will want to give us a bit of slack here and there but JB will want to keep us all in line.”

Luke Brooks: “Maybe Turbo, nah he’s all right. I don’t know, I still haven’t figured it out.”

Jack Wighton: “I’m looking towards Damien Cook. He’s got that old man feel about him.”

Tyrone Munro: “I’d say Jai Arrow… nah… Most probably Stretch.”

WHO IS MOST LIKELY TO FORGET THEIR BOOTS?

Adam Reynolds: “Ezra Mam – he’s hopeless. Always forgetting something. Him or Selwyn.”

Billy Walters: “Selwyn Cobbo 100 per cent. We’ve done Army camps in the past where you get given a list of things to bring and he’s missing half the stuff.”

Corey Oates: “Reece Walsh easily.”

Pat Carrigan: “Ezra or Walshy. Brendan Piakura is useless, he can barely get his training gear to training.”

Kotoni Staggs: “Jordan Riki because he just forgot them today for a photo shoot.”

Brad Parker: “Lachlan Croker – he’s done it twice before. We were at Brookie and he looked over to Jake and said ‘do you always bring two pairs of boots?’ Jake said ‘yeah’ so Lachie said ‘what size are you? 10. Perfect can I have a pair?’”

Taniela Paseka: “Jacob Sykes, he’s one of the younger guys and if he comes he’d definitely be the one. And Josh Schuster as well, he’s terrible.”

Reuben Garrick: “Me. Nah it happened the other week… It was Taniela Paseka. He forgot his boots at training because we were at a different stadium and no one has his size – it’s like a size 16 – so he had to run around in his runners. His partner had to come and drop them off.”

WHO IN THE ENTIRE NRL WOULD MAKE THE BEST NFL PLAYER?

Adam Reynolds: “I think Tom Burgess, he’d be pretty good. A big fella, he could probably put on a bit of weight too if he went to the NFL. He’s already big now, I’d hate to see how big he can get. Other than that maybe Walshy as a punt returner.”

Billy Walters: “I’m going to say Payne Haas. I don’t want him to go over there but I think he could crack it. He’s got all the physical attributes – he’s fast, strong and big.”

Corey Oates: “That’s easy – Payne. He could play anywhere, he’s a freak.”

Pat Carrigan: “Off the cuff, they played some NFL in Aussies camp and Liam Martin has got a gun arm. I don’t think he could be a quarterback but he could throw an NFL ball pretty far. Payne could be a big tight-end or ‘Foxx’ (Josh Addo-Carr) as a wide receiver.”

Kotoni Staggs: “Myself.”

Brad Parker: “Probably Latrell Mitchell – big, strong and fast.”

Taniela Paseka: “I honestly think Haumole Olakau’atu. He’s a freak of nature, he’s very athletic so I think he’d kill it in a lot of position.”

Reuben Garrick: “I think Jason Saab. The speed, the height and he can catch the ball well. I think he’d be a really good wide receiver.”

Bradman Best: “Burto if he was kicking. Greg Marzhew, I’d throw him in as a running back, he’s too big, too strong.”

Jayden Brailey: “Greg Marzhew as a running back.”

Jack Cogger: “The obvious one is Matt Burton with his kicking, I think that would be an easy transition. But someone from the Knights could be Bradman Best as a running back – he’s pretty fast.”

Greg Marzhew: “Jayden Campbell as a wide receiver – he’d be hectic.”

Kalyn Ponga: “Greg Marzhew as a running back. He’s strong and powerful. I actually don’t know why he hasn’t tried to go over there.”

Ryan Papenhuyzen: “I’m going to say Matt Burton just for the punt, I can see him doing that.”

Cameron Munster: “I’m going to say Reece Walsh just because of his speed, like a wide receiver. Or maybe Nelson Asofoa-Solomona as a tight-end. I think Matt Burton could be a good punter.”

Tyran Wishart: “I think speed definitely helps… I think someone like Reece Walsh, who is quick and light on his feet, could be good. Watching him playing league, he looks like he’d do well over there.”

Mitchell Moses: “I’ll go Will Penisni as a running back.”

Dylan Brown: “I think Jamayne Isaako could be pretty good because he’s fast, can catch the ball and can do some freaky things. He’s got the vibe for it too.”

Shaun Lane: “Reg (Campbell-Gillard) would be good in the defensive line. Greg Marzhew is very strong, he’d make a good running back. Will Penisini is quite an athlete and is strong.”

Api Koroisau: “I’m going to go Brian To’o as a working again, he’s bought an incredible construct for it.
