Michael Cheika is firmly within the Wests Tigers’ sights with the joint merger membership reportedly eager to rent the previous Wallabies coach as its new common supervisor of soccer.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the Tigers will launch a bid for Cheika as early as this week to take over the position which would depart the 56-year-old in command of the roster and training employees along with the grassroots and recruitment of the membership.
Former Tigers participant Mark O’Neill was stated to be within the hunt for the job, however at this stage, the Tigers are set on Cheika for the vacant position.

Cheika lately coached the Argentina nationwide aspect within the 2023 Rugby Union World Cup, main them to a fourth-placed end.
Cheika’s contract with Argentina was attributable to finish after the World Cup.
With Argentina’s Rugby World Cup marketing campaign over, CEO Justin Pascoe and chairman Lee Hagipantelis will resume talks with Cheika.

While Cheika is usually identified for his exploits in rugby union, he has had his share of expertise in league as effectively.
Cheika labored on the Roosters as an adviser in 2020 and coached Lebanon within the 2022 Rugby League World Cup.
He has a detailed relationship with Tigers assistant coach Robbie Farah. It has been reported it was Farah who advised the Tigers check out Cheika.
