Webster beat out each Ivan Cleary and Kevin Walters to win the distinguished awarding, marking an 18-year journey to the highest of the NRL teaching ranks.

“The two coaches on the weekend in those two teams, I am so proud to win this award, I really am. But to have two coaches in the grand final on the weekend.
“To get your teams there is amazing, so Ivan and Kevin, I just want to wish you such the best of luck. I know how special it is and I know it’s going to be a hell of a game of football.”
