Warriors ahead Jazz Tevaga has declared he’ll donate cash in honour of former teammate Roman Tuhimata for each mistake he makes within the 2023 season in a bid to assist his buddy by means of most cancers therapy.
Tevaga will chip in $100 to a donation fund for “every missed tackle, error and penalty”, claiming the upcoming marketing campaign is more likely to develop into an “expensive season”.

The Kiwi star additionally revealed he’ll run a half marathon in April and a full marathon in October in an effort to proceed elevating extra funds.

“Roman endured months of pain and discomfort while working, eventually forcing him to wear his tool belt around his neck,” Tevaga wrote.
“Multiple trips to A & E and to the hospital resulted in being discharged prematurely, after conducting many different tests.
“Once the seriousness of the situation was realised, a PET scan showed the tumour that began in his abdomen, had now spread to his liver and spleen resulting in a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
“With his typical calm and humble nature, he [Tuhimata] maintains a strong positive attitude, that is inspiring,” Tevaga wrote.
“He is a genuine kind loving man – all the qualities that make for an amazing partner, son, brother and friend.”
Tevaga and Tuhimata beforehand lined up alongside one another within the Warriors’ National Youth Competition group.
