British-Finnish duo aiming for second title of 2023
Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara are firing on all cylinders on the 2023 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
The British-Finnish duo, who haven’t dropped a set this week, didn’t face a break level en path to ousting prime seeds Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic 6-4, 6-2 in Friday’s semi-final on the ATP 500.
In 2022, Glasspool and Heliovaara accomplished a career-best season and made the ultimate 4 on the coveted Nitto ATP Finals. However, there was one crew they couldn’t get previous: Croatians Mektic and Pavic, who have been an ideal 3-0 in opposition to Glasspool and Heliovaara together with wins in Turin, at Queen’s Club, and a five-set victory at Wimbledon.
