As Amazon’s Alexa completes 5 years in India, the corporate on Thursday launched a brand new male voice possibility for Alexa’s responses.

With this, Indian customers will be capable of swap between Alexa’s unique voice and a brand new masculine-sounding voice.

The company said that users can change Alexa’s voice by saying “Alexa, change your voice” on the Echo gadget or from the Alexa app by going to particular person gadget settings and deciding on Alexa’s voice.

Users will be capable of use any of the wake phrases — together with Alexa, Echo, Computer and Amazon to ask questions in English, Hindi and Hinglish.

Moreover, the corporate talked about that, in 2022, requests to Alexa for music elevated by virtually 53 per cent, with clients streaming songs by way of suppliers corresponding to Amazon Prime Music, Spotify, JioSaavn and Apple Music.
