Apple’s AirTag has helped to rescue a canine that was misplaced within the main floods in California, by main rescuers to his location.

The one-year-old Australian shepherd, Seamus, was separated from his proprietor whereas out for a stroll and fell right into a fast-flowing storm drain, experiences MacRumors.

Seamus floated away from his proprietor after being swept right into a flood management basin, however he finally managed to crawl out of an entry tube.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department mentioned on its Facebook web page that each the Apple AirTag and the standard ID tag “aided rescuers and homeowners in monitoring the pup and reuniting them”.

It was reported last November that the tracking device had helped a woman locate her runaway dog in Florida state.

The canine’s disappearance was seen by the proprietor, Denise, an hour after the canine ran away.

She then realised that she had fitted an AirTag GPS tracker in the dog’s collar and then the dog was finally tracked in an animal shelter, which was 20 minutes away from her house.
