Elon Musk reportedly used robust language, repeatedly advised firms who pulled commercials from to “go f** yourself.

In his recent interview,  X owner Elon Musk apologised for a controversial post on his social media platform (previously called Twitter). He acknowledged it as his “dumbest” social media post. However, Musk strongly criticised advertisers who are leaving the platform due to the increase in antisemitism on X.

In an interview with The New York Times DealBook Summit, Elon Musk reportedly used strong language, repeatedly told companies who pulled advertisements from to “go f** yourself”, as per a report from Business Insider India.

“I don’t want them to advertise. If someone is going to blackmail me with advertising or money go f* yourself. Go. F*. Yourself. Is that clear? Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience, that’s how I feel” ” he said, referring to Disney CEO Bob Iger, who spoke earlier at the summit on Wednesday.

Musk made the remarks as the X CEO, Linda Yaccarino, sat in the audience. Yaccarino was brought into the company to woo back big-name advertisers. Ge also said he has no problem being hated.

As per Reuters, Musk has faced a torrent of criticism ever since he agreed with a user who falsely claimed Jewish people were stoking hatred against white people. Musk in his post said the user, who referenced the “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory, was speaking “the actual truth.”

Musk’s comments have put pressure on X overall, including Chief Executive Linda Yaccarino. An executive told Reuters that she would remain at the company. Musk himself appeared resolved that X could fail financially and blamed advertisers.

In the wake of the condemnation around his post, Elon Musk visited Israel and toured the site of conflict in October. He later had a live-streamed conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on X. Musk stated that the trip had been planned independently of any controversy surrounding his social media post.
