Popular online game firm Electronic Arts (EA) is shedding round 6 per cent of its workforce amid international macro-economic uncertainties.

According to studies, EA had about 13,000 workers final 12 months, which suggests a 6 per cent reduce might reduce round 780 jobs.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson instructed workers in a weblog publish that as the corporate drives better focus throughout its portfolio, “we’re transferring away from initiatives that don’t contribute to our technique, reviewing our actual property footprint, and restructuring a few of our groups”.
