Google to Soon Migrate Calendar, Assistant Reminders to ‘Google Tasks’

New Delhi: Tech large Google has introduced that it’s going to quickly migrate Reminders from Google Calendar and Google Assistant to Google Tasks to create a single expertise for managing to-dos throughout Google. For private accounts, this migration will seem beginning March 6, the tech large mentioned in a Workspace Updates blogpost on Friday.


“If you`re a Google Workspace customer with the Tasks service ON in your organisation, your end users can voluntarily migrate beginning April 12, 2023.” With the change, customers will be capable to see and handle all of their to-dos in a single place – Tasks.

Users will be capable to leverage options in Tasks comparable to organising to-dos with a number of lists and including descriptions for additional organisation. “Reminders created in Keep will not be migrated to Tasks – they will still be available in Keep, but they will no longer be displayed in Google Calendar once the migration is complete,” the corporate talked about.
