Google printed a web-based commercial by which its a lot anticipated AI chatbot Bard delivered an inaccurate reply.
The tech large posted a brief GIF video of Bard in motion through Twitter, describing the chatbot as a “launchpad for curiosity” that might assist simplify advanced matters.
In the commercial, Bard is given the immediate: “What new discoveries from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) can I tell my 9-year old about?”
Bard responds with quite a lot of solutions, together with one suggesting the JWST was used to take the very first photos of a planet outdoors the Earth’s photo voltaic system, or exoplanets. This is inaccurate.
The first photos of exoplanets have been taken by the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) in 2004, as confirmed by NASA.
Google didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark. It introduced the launch of Bard on Monday.
At the time of writing, the advert had been considered on Twitter greater than 880,000 occasions.
