TRAI Secretary V Raghunandan together with different trade members and authorities officers spearheaded discussions at Truecaller’s Fraud Prevention Summit in New Delhi, advocating for a unified technique to fortify India’s digital safety measures.
Raghunandan careworn the crucial nature of collaborative efforts between private and non-private entities, emphasising that no single company can singularly tackle the myriad dimensions of safety issues prevalent within the nation’s digital ecosystem.
“Only one agency, public or private cannot address all the dimensions of security in the country. The approach must be collaborative with strategic public-private partnerships. India is likely to lead such developments and this is the reason why we must look at every security dimension. Collaboration is the new mantra!” he famous.
He underscored India’s potential to steer in these developments, emphasising the necessity for a complete strategy to handle each safety dimension, putting collaboration on the forefront of this endeavour.
The occasion convened a consortium of influential stakeholders, together with authorities officers, trade leaders, expertise innovators, and policymakers. It served as a focus for deliberations on enhancing security in digital communication, delving into the authorized, social, and financial impacts of fraudulent actions.
