Italy’s privateness watchdog stated Friday it had blocked the controversial robotic ChatGPT, saying the synthetic intelligence app didn’t respect consumer knowledge and couldn’t confirm customers’ age.
The determination “with immediate effect” will lead to “the temporary limitation of the processing of Italian user data vis-a-vis OpenAI”, stated the Italian Data Protection Authority.
