Microsoft Corp stated it was investigating points with electronic mail service Outlook as customers in North America confronted issues with accessing, sending or looking emails on the platform.
There have been greater than 2,000 incidents of individuals reporting points with Outlook late Tuesday at about 23:10 ET, based on Downdetector.com, which tracks outages by collating standing experiences from sources, together with user-submitted errors on its platform.
The internet monitoring agency confirmed that experiences dropped to 351 incidents of individuals elevating complaints as of two:10 ET.
“Users primarily hosted within the North American area making an attempt to entry Outlook.com could also be unable to ship, obtain, or search electronic mail. Additional performance similar to Calendar consumed by different companies similar to Microsoft Teams would even be affected,” Microsoft said in an update on its status page.
A “recent change” led to the difficulty and the corporate was working to restart parts of the affected infrastructure to be able to restore service, Microsoft stated in a tweet.
