New Delhi: Twitter has elevated the tweet size restrict to 4,000 for Twitter Blue subscribers within the US.  This is greater than 14 instances the earlier restrict (280-character) for Twitter Blue customers within the US. The present 280-character restrict, remains to be in impact for all non-subscribers and Twitter Blue customers exterior of the United States.

“Sometimes you need more words. Longer Tweets are now live for US TwitterBlue subscribers,” the microblogging web site tweeted.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk had in December confirmed that the micro-blogging platform will enhance the tweet character restrict from 280 to 4,000.

It all began when a consumer requested Musk, “Elon is it true that Twitter is set to increase the characters from 280 to 4000?”

To this Musk replied, “Yes”.
