Twitter To Charge $1,000 Per Month From Businesses For Their Gold Badges

Twitter has informed companies to pay $1,000 monthly for retaining gold badges and types and organisations which don’t pay the cash will lose their checkmarks.

The Elon Musk-run firm, which is busy monetising its platform through numerous means, can even cost an additional $50 monthly so as to add badges to every account affiliated with the model, reviews The Information.

A screenshot posted by social media advisor Matt Navarra additionally recommended that Twitter goes to cost an enormous $1,000 monthly.

“Twitter is reportedly emailing companies providing gold examine mark verification for $1000 PER MONTH! And affiliate account verification for $50 every monthly,” tweeted Navarra.

Twitter did not immediately comment on this.

Twitter had rolled out gold badges ahead of its Verification for Organisations programme (formerly called Blue for Business), which allows brands to “verify and distinguish themselves on Twitter.”
