A crash involving a business tractor truck hauling liquid nitric acid has led to evacuation orders as a hazardous spill prompted officers to shut a portion of Interstate 10 in Tucson, Arizona, officers stated.

The interstate was shut down in each instructions between Rita and Kolb roads Tuesday, and the “extensive closure” is anticipated to proceed impacting the Wednesday morning commute, the Arizona Department of Public Safety stated on its web site.

“Motorists in the Tucson area should plan for this closure to impact their Wednesday morning commute,” the general public security division famous.
