A Taliban governor in northern Afghanistan has been killed by an explosion in his workplace, police officers have informed Mahaz News.
Mohammad Dawood Muzammil, the governor of Balkh province, died together with two others within the blast on Thursday, mentioned the provincial police drive’s spokesman Asif Waziri.
The explanation for the explosion stays unclear, however Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid mentioned the boys had been killed “by the enemies of Islam.”
However, he didn’t establish the suspects and no group has claimed accountability for the assault.
