Air-traffic controller shortages might lead to fewer flights this summer time

Major U.S. airways are planning schedule cuts largely in New York City space airports forward of peak summer time air-travel season as air-traffic controller shortages simmer.

Airlines have till the top of the month to make federal aviation regulators conscious of any schedule changes because of a waiver associated to intently guarded “slots,” or authorization to make use of airports within the space, and a few have already stated they’d be chopping down on flights for now.
