Japan Ready to Take Measures Against Sharp Yen Falls, Finance Minister Says

TOKYO–The Japanese authorities stands able to take motion if the yen weakens too sharply, Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki mentioned Tuesday.

“We are watching [the foreign exchange market] with a strong sense of urgency,” Suzuki mentioned at a news convention on Tuesday. “We will take every possible measures” towards extreme strikes within the yen.

Suzuki reiterated that the federal government wasn’t concentrating on any particular yen stage however specializing in volatility. The yen was final at round 149.85 towards the greenback.
