Tesla to provide 10% pay raises to hourly staff at its Nevada gigafactory: report

Tesla Inc. will give most hourly staff at its Nevada gigafactory roughly 10% raises beginning in January, CNBC reported late Monday.

Citing inner supplies it obtained, CNBC mentioned most hourly staff’ pay on the Sparks, Nev., battery manufacturing unit will rise from $20 to $22 an hour on the low finish and from $30.65 to $34.50 an hour on the excessive finish.

The pay raises could also be a part of an effort to dampen union assist on the facility. The United Auto Workers mentioned final month it was launching a push to unionize staff at Tesla, Toyota
