aircraft made an emergency touchdown in San Francisco on Monday night time after a bomb menace was made.

United Airlines Flight 1909 took off from Los Angeles and was initially scheduled to land in Vancouver, Canada. But the bomb menace from a passenger pressured the touchdown within the Bay Area round 9:30 p.m. The menace was deemed “not credible,” in response to one report.

The aircraft was carrying 148 passengers and eight crew members, in response to one other report. Investigators spoke with passengers after the deviation.

In a press release to MarketWatch, a United spokesperson acknowledged that “United flight 1909 diverted to San Francisco last night due to a potential security issue on board. The flight landed safely, was met by local law enforcement and is now scheduled to depart this [Tuesday] morning at 7:00 a.m. local time.”

On the social-media platform X, one individual stated he was on the flight and was interviewed by the FBI. “This has been one crazy weekend bruh,” he stated.

United is without doubt one of the nation’s 4 largest airways, in response to the OAG website.
