South Zone and East Zone registered their third consecutive victories within the ongoing Deodhar Trophy on Friday to stay unbeaten within the event. While South thrashed North East Zone by 9 wickets, East received the higher of North Zone by 88 runs.
Central Zone misplaced to West Zone by one wicket and remained winless within the event, together with North East.
The six groups within the fray will play one another as soon as in a round-robin format and the highest two groups will qualify for the ultimate, to be performed on August 3.
