Veteran Australian spinner Nathan Lyon stated on Saturday he “did not really see BazBall” through the two Tests he performed towards England in Ashes 2023 and added that his damage has taken his starvation for the sport to a different stage and a return to England for the Ashes later can’t be dominated out. The off-spinner, who turns 36 this year, did not rule out the possibility of returning to England in 2027 for another Ashes series, stating that his “starvation for the sport has in all probability gone to a brand new stage” after some time away due to injury.
