Ex-West Indies captain Kieron Pollard to hitch England teaching workers for 2024 T20 World Cup

Former West Indies captain Kieron Pollard will be a part of the England teaching group for the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup, the ECB introduced on Sunday.

Pollard turns into a part of the England set-up particularly as an assistant coach for the June event.

The 36-year-old former Somerset all-rounder from Trinidad and Tobago will present experience of Caribbean situations when the competitors is co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States.

Pollard helped the West Indies win the T20 World Cup in 2012 and has performed a file 600-plus matches within the format.

The ninth version of the T20 World Cup will likely be held between June 4 and June 30, with the ultimate to be staged on the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

England will defend the title they received for the second time in Australia 13 months in the past in a event expanded from 16 to twenty groups.
