IND vs WI 2nd Test Highlights, Day 5: Rain performs spoilsport, match ends in draw; India wins sequence 1-0

India put itself within the pole place to win the second Test towards West Indies courtesy of some aggressive batting and disciplined bowling on Day Four on the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad on Monday.

West Indies, chasing a frightening 365-run goal, began steadily earlier than being dragged all the way down to 76 for 2 on the finish of the day’s play, with off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin getting each the wickets.

India, after being saved at an arm’s size for many of Day Three, stirred the pot early within the day, with Mohammed Siraj main the cost with a fifer to bowl West Indies out for 255 within the first innings.

Indian then shot proper out of the blocks with, openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal placing on a 98-run stand at a break-neck tempo.
