Quetta Gladiators clinched a second win from two matches within the PSL 2024 by defeating scrappy defending champions Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets.

Gladiators romped to 188 for five with 5 balls to spare after Qalandars’ 187 for 7. Qalandars misplaced a second successive residence residence after dropping three catches.

Jahandad claimed the momentum within the dying overs by hitting 4 sixes and three boundaries. He upped the ante when he smacked Abrar Ahmed for 3 sixes within the leg-spinner’s final over which went for 23.

Both batters fell in successive overs after dominating the powerplay. Zaman clean-bowled Shakeel with a yorker and Roy swiped wildly at spinner Raza’s brief ball that hit the center stump.
