India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik feels pacers from Pakistan and India are on equal footing however Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah are stronger than the trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Mohammad Shami on flat pitches due to the better tempo they generate. The three Pakistani fast bowlers grabbed all 10 Indian wickets of their Asia Cup match in Pallekele on Saturday, bundling them out for 266 in 48.5 overs.

However, the match was known as off on account of persistent rain. Shaheen had the excellent bowling figures of 4/35 in 10 overs, whereas the opposite two acquired three wickets every. Karthik cited the bounce the three Pakistani bowlers generated off the pitch and the variations they create to the desk as the principle causes for his or her success.

“Shaheen, Haris Rauf and Naseem can bowl 90-plus consistently and all three are very different. Shaheen Shah, obviously the left arm, has an angle to it and brings the ball back in, Naseem Shah swings the ball both ways.

“Haris is arguably the most effective bowlers proper now on the again finish of an inning due to his skid and the nasty bouncer that he is acquired,” Karthik told Cricbuzz.

“For me, they (Pakistani bowlers) are a much more potent assault on flat wickets. If there’s something within the pitch then each assaults (India and Pakistan) always develop into very equal but when I needed to play an assault I’ve a sense,” added Karthik.

The Indian cricketer also said Bumrah, Siraj and Shami would probably generate lesser bounce than their Pakistani counterparts.

“I’ve a greater likelihood of most likely enjoying Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj, and Shami solely as a result of the bounce they will get will probably be barely lesser than what these three different bowlers can do from Pakistan,” Karthik opined.
