South Africa squad for West Indies sequence: Markram named T20 captain, Duminy appointed as white-ball batting coach

Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday introduced the ODI and T20I squads, together with the teaching appointments for the white-ball sequence towards West Indies later this month.

Aiden Markram has been appointed the brand new T20I captain. The 28-year-old takes over from Temba Bavuma, who stepped down as T20I captain final month. 

Meanwhile, JP Duminy has been appointed because the full-time white-ball batting coach. The 38-year-old just lately coached the Paarl Royals within the SA20 league and the Paarl Rocks provincial crew this season.

Pace pair Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada have been rested for the ODIs.

Four uncapped gamers have been named within the squad with quick bowler Gerald Coetzee; batters Tony de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs incomes their maiden ODI call-ups.
