West Indies defeated India by 4 runs within the first T20I match on Thursday. After the match, West Indies participant Jason Holder stated that the sixteenth over was the turning level within the recreation. West Indies batted first and set a goal of 149/6. Coming to the match, West Indies gained the toss and for a change, they determined to bat first. The hosts managed to place up a complete of 149-6.

India struggled all through the chase as wickets stored falling at common intervals, which made it laborious for them to chase down the goal of 150.

India will sq. off in opposition to West Indies within the second T20I on Sunday.
