The inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League acquired underway on Saturday when Gujarat Giants took on Mumbai Indians on the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
The five-team event will comprise 20 league matches performed until the twenty first of March adopted by an eliminator and a remaining.
Here is the event format for WPL 2023.
WPL 2023 FORMAT
5 groups will compete in opposition to one another in 20 league matches
Each workforce will play the opposite groups twice
Table topper will qualify instantly for the ultimate
2nd & third positioned groups will play the eliminator to qualify for the ultimate
Eliminator is to be performed on twenty fourth March on the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
Final to be performed on twenty sixth March at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
